Had D&c Done. Missed Period, Abdominal Pain, Lower Back Pain. Pregnant Again?

Hi I ve had a d&c 6 weeks ago as babys heart beat stopped beating at 8 weeks did a follow up check up after 1 week after my d&c wth no left over product. I ve missed my menses by 1 week as i have a 32 days cycle and have slight abdominal pulling pains and lower backache all of this started 2 weeks ago. Could I be pregnant again.

Hi,
If you have resumed your normal sexual life without any protection and if you have started menstruating, then, yes, you could be pregnant. You should get a pregnancy test immediately and follow it up with a sonogram and contact your doctor for further care. The cause of the fetal demise in your earlier pregnancy should also be evaluated. Meanwhile you may take prenatal vitamins. Good luck.
