Hi
Thanks for your query.
your child is having cold which is viral or allergic in nature and will settle in few days.
I suggest you not to give asthalin as it contains salbutamol and in a bronchodilator given in spasmodic cough.
Give her anti histaminic like certrizine or benadryl as per dosage for 3 to 4 days.
Give steam inhalation.
Give plenty of warm fluids, lemon ginger tea.
Avoid all kind of fried and junk food.

Wishing your child good health,
God bless.

Hi,
Thank you for your query,
Asthalin syrup is used for cough associated with wheezing and it is not indicated in cold.
Stop asthalin.
For cold you can give oral antihistamine like chlorpheniramine or cetirizine in prescribed dose.
For immunity give balanced diet, immunize her appropriately for her age.
Recurrent cough may be due to some allergy or underlying hyper reactive airway problems.
Avoid exposure to cold air, dust, pollution, and to pet animals and known allergens.
Hope I have answered your query.
