hi my name is louise me and my partner have been trying to consive for over 3 years now and it is realy starting to get me down can you give me some infomation to help me i am 26 years old my partner is 40 years old and we feel like time is running out my hight is 5foot 5 inches and i weigh 19 stone i know i am over weight and am working on this at the moment. we both have concived in the past also i have polisistic overy sindrome i hope this iformation is helpfull and thankyou for taking the time to read my message louise

Hi,thanks for query.First of all it is important that you take treatment for PCOD.Without its treatment pregnancy is not possible.Also get ovulation study done so that we can have some idea.After that if things are normal try to have relation in middle of cycle for better chance.bye.

Hi Louise,

Take Rx for your PCOS: weight reduction, exercise, Insulin resistance drugs like metformin, regularise your periods. Meanwhile go for taking drugs to ovum maturation followed by follicular study..At the time of follicle maturation have relation ship ( mostly mid cycle but differs according to days of men .cycle) Your previous conception indicates that you have very good chances of being pregnant soon.

for infertility besides you take treatment for pcos and reduce weight your partner also should have semen analysis and treatment if needed

Hello,
Welcome to healthcaremagic,
First n foremost it is very important for u to reduce weight, u can also b started on Folic acid tablets n t metformin (insulin sensitizer), Start ur cycles of ovultation induction with Letrozole/clome n keep alternate day relations from day 10 onwards for atleast 10 days, Consult immediately if u miss ur periods,
about ur age, the pregnancy rates reduce after age of 30 so no need to anic at all.....
