Gastric Pains In Chest, Abdomen. Stent Put In After Gastric Sleeve Surgery. Treatment?
I had a stent put in after the gastric sleeve surgery. It has been 1.5 weeks and I am experiencing what I thought was reflux but it must be extreme GAS pain from the middle of my chest all through my abdomen . How long will this last? Is it normal? What can I take for it?? It is painful, especially at night and last for hours.

I have read your query and here is my advise.
* Extreme pain of such intensity after gastric sleeve is not normal and the same must be addressed to your gastro surgeon.
* There can be possible tightening of the upper end of the sleeve or else responsible for the same.
* A check upper GI endoscopy will reveal all the possible causes as well as curative intervention can be sorted out at the same time only.
