Hi Doctor , I am 24 year old female, I had thinning of hair in the front part of my head(I had done permanent straightning only front part to make it look like fringes). So i assumed that due to straightning i have loss of hair and it would be fine in few days. After this i suffered from typhoid for 3 weeks, after typhoid in about 1 month i started losing lot of hair. Then i switched to ayurvedic hair oil (indulekha) which reduced my hairfall. But still I could see slight bald patch in the front due to hair loss. so i went to a dermatologist . she gave me the following medicine 1.Cutimin Forte - which has Biotin 2.Some hair growth Serum - (i dont remember the name) AFter I started using this my hair started falling out in bunches, its so much that when i wash my hair i can see complete bundle of hair coming out. I stopped the medication immediatly. but still i have lot of hair fall. its reduced a bit(earlier i would lose about 2000 hair strands). My sclap gets itchy even after bath and I have got dandruff as well, i dint have it before typhiod,i had very healthy hair.. I just apply aloe vera to my roots now before washing hair.. I see some improvement, but hairfall has n stopped complelty I lose about 1000 starnds per day now. Please advice me. did i start losing hair due to the the medications i took or is it due to typhoid. Please help me, I almost look bald now and i feel embarrased to meet people coz of it.
