Fell Off. The Pain Has Since Lingered Since The Initial Fall But I Still Have Pain In Leg. Discomfort In Standing. Suggestions?
Hello,
I fell off a 4-5ft scaffolding yesterday. It is bareable to handle and does not affect my work performance. The pain has since lingered since the initial fall but I still have some pain in my right leg. I am pretty comfortable sitting/standing but sudden movement to and from either position will give me discomfort. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
* Rest to the injured part so as to give some time to heal. Activities that causes symptoms are to be avoided. * Ice packing on the affected area once in 2 hours for first 48 hours. * Moist heat fomentation will help in relaxing the taut muscles * Gentle stretching may be helpful. Stretching excessively can be harmful and slow the healing process. * Analgesic medications as needed.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day

Fell Off. The Pain Has Since Lingered Since The Initial Fall But I Still Have Pain In Leg. Discomfort In Standing. Suggestions?
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM. I suspect that your pain in the leg associated with movements only could be due to muscle strain. The general treatment guidelines are as follows - * Rest to the injured part so as to give some time to heal. Good day
