Feeling Weak, Sore Throat, Cough, Headache. Prescribed Antibiotics. Body Temperature Low. All Tests Normal. Reason?
It all started three weeks ago. I felt weak for a couple of days and then i had sore throat. Doctor prescribed anti allergic and antibiotic. My cough has subsided, although i still cough ocassionally. I have low body temperature of the order of 97 to 97.6 degrees in the morning since last two weeks. I feel weak and sleepy accompanied by mild headache. Doctor asked me for blood test , thyroid test, liver function test and typhi dot. All the tests were normal except that my bilirubin count was 1.5 instead of 1.2. My doctor says that everything is fine but i feel very weak and dizzy.

Since all symptoms are from 3 weeks and cough still present ( occasionally ) .
Liver function test only show high bilirubin level ( mild ) ,this may be the cause of generalized weakness as you are complaining.
2nd reason of cough may be due to bronchoconstriction ( as in the beginning doctor prescribed anti allergic drug after examination ) .
3rd reason may be some sort of disease in lungs , so for this you have to consult a physician and get in an X ray to rule out any disease in lungs.
If E S R raised ( very high ) then it is a cause of concern ,so get in blood for E S R.
