Feeling Of Blocked Nose, Tight And Heavy Head, Shoulder, throat. History Of C6 C7 Herniated Disc. On Lozartan With Hydochlorothiacide And Doudart For BPH. Side Effects?
Been feeling more frequently as if my nose has been partially blocked somewhere because my breathing doesn't seem to flow freely through. I also felt my head has been tight and heavy. My shoulder blades feels tight and with slight pain, like a muscle pain after an exercise. My throat felt tight with my voice coming out slightly hoarse. What could this be? I was diagnosed with C6 C7 herniated disc but went trough rehab. Two years ago I went though Gastroscopy and cleared of anything abnormal through to my stomach. My medications; Lozartan with hydochlorothiacide and Doudart for BPH. Can this be an effect of the medication?
Hi, Your breathing symptoms could be due to nasal polyps. If your breathing is obstructed you may feel a heaviness in your head. Lozartan can rarely cause sinusitis-type symptoms. I would suggest you visit your doctor who will be able to examine you and decide whether a referral to an ENT specialist would be appropriate. Regards, Dr K A Pottinger MBChB FRCA
