Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

I have gone through your available history.

It seems that you are suffering from Depression with impulse control disorder but bipolar mood disorder and personality disorder may need to be ruled out.

The reason of non-improvement with citalopram is
- Less duration of treatment. Anti depressants takes time to start action and one should allow 12 weeks before diagnosing it as non-working.
- Inadequate dose of drug. Usual dose range is 20-80mg per day.

- Presence of other diagnosis like use of substance, bipolar disorder

- Physical causes like thyroid dysfunction

You should consult your psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and treatment as per cause.

Meanwhile , you may do stress management and relaxation exercise to control stress.

Thanks.
