Extreme Fatigue After Hard Hit On The Head. Histroy Of Mild Epilepsy. Head Injury?

Hi 1 day ago i hit the lower part of my head on the bed frame very hard by accidentally, now i feel extremely tired, all i want to do is shut my eyes and sleep and by eyes feel heavy and achy. Can you offer some advice so i dont work myself up into thinking it could be extremely serious? Ive been seven years free of mild epilepsy but because it is a head injury it makes me worry. I am 18 by the way.

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

Based on your symptoms, it seems to be mild head injury with mild concussion. It should resolve on its own in a few days.

There is no need to worry at present. If symptoms persist beyond a few days, you may consult a doctor.

Please get back if you require any additional information.

Best wishes,
