Experiencing Trouble In Breathing And Pounding Heart Beat?

16 months ago I had 4 bypass. Trouble taking in a deep breath for at least 6-7 months.( ignored by the doctors because they could not hear any sounds with stethascope). Diabetic for the last 2 years. Developed full blown episode of pleurosy 9 days ago. Prescribed 1000mg of Napricin. didni't help breathing, only pain. Yesterday, i started Methylprednisolone 4mg pack. Rapid pounding heart beat entire first day and night. Is this drug appropriate? Would antibiotic or a combination of the two work better. Treating dry pleurosy. Florida is the worst medical care I have experienced.

Pleurisy occurring 18 months post bypass is rarely due to procedure, so rule out secondary causes. Prednisone is a steroid, quickly will relieve the symptoms and through nit recommended, widely used by doctors, and under observant care would not be a big problem. If symptoms persist try mailing me all your reports
