Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic
Shortness of breath
can be related to systemic conditions such as anemia which is low red cell mass or conditions involving the heart or lungs.
Cardiac causes would normally be associated with a history of chest pain
, palpitations, and, in some persons excess sweating at the time of the episode. It normally occurs in person with a history of heart disease
, diabetes, high cholesterol
, smoking or excess weight.
Any disease of the lungs can also potentially cause shortness of breath.
You may want to consider visiting your doctor who may take blood tests (full blood count), and other tests such as xray , ECG or echo - the investigations would be based on the significant findings in history and examination.
I hope this helps
