Experiencing Pain In Right Arm And Elbow ,could It Be Due To Osteo Arthritis ?

Hi, I have recently had xrays to confirm I have osteo arthritis in the joints between my thumb and first fingers in both hands. Today I cannot fully straighten my right arm at the elbow. I have no associated pain. Could this be osteo arthritis settling in my elbow aswell?? ( A work collegue has recently beeen told she has a form of septic? arthritis possilby via a virus or STD? Being Viral could I also "catch it"?)

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the rheumatoid arthritis, Osteo arthritis usually happen in the leg joints that is weight bearing.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagosis and treatment. You may need to have a R.A.factor, C.reactive protein, and E.S.R. for confirmation.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections, for 10 consecutive days, ofloxacin, and mefanamic acid.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken and sea foods.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
