Hello, My name is Keyron Smith, my symptom is in my Left year. It kinda feels like a Tinnitus/ ETD/ Eardrum Rupture, all at once. Instead of the ringing, its just a Crackling noise. I am not sick, so there is not Mucus in my throat. I feel as if every time i hiccup, or yawn there is a extreme stream of pain that dissipates shortly less then a minute. But a small aching pain that follow it lasting a very long time. How did i get this problem? my dog licked my ear and i didn t clean it. at first it was just hard to hear so i thought maybe it was a build up of ear wax so.. here i am cleaning my ear with an over the counter product called ERO i take the syringe that comes with the box and remove the ear wax. I ended up working the small little syringe deeper and deeper until i got to (what i think is the eardrum im not sure) but i continued to remove the ear wax out my ear. I struck something some little wall or something in my ear with the syringe. Now that i continued to use ERO i completely drained my ear with ear wax but now me doing that i know i damaged something. Now i can hardly hear/ small continuous pain/ and ripping/crackling sound keeps going in my ear. It hurts when i hiccup or burp, so i know it has to deal with the pressure in my ear. I read to ease the pain is to use something hot and dry, so im doing this. But is there any over the counter medicine that will help me get my ear better? or some kinda syrup to insert in my ear to help heal it? the pain that i measure 1/10 is when i hiccup or burp its a 9 for like 5 or 10 seconds. but as it hurts now it will be a continuous 3 thats still going even now. it started yesterday (4/15/2014) and it hurts more now (4/16/2014) trying to clean my ear as i do it. the pain is cruel.. so please help if u can..
