Experiencing Chest Pain Radiating Into Neck And Jaw. Taking Lo-loestrin Fe For Endometriosis. Advise

Hello,

I am a 26 year old female experiencing chest pain (left side) radiating up into my neck and jaw. The chest pain is severe at times. I had one episode like this before (around two months ago; the pain occurred over two days) and, after a lot of thought and hesitation, went to the emergency room at the recommendation of my primary care physician. I paid a lot of money for an EKG, chest x-ray and some medication, only to have the nurse practitioner tell me that I had an "atypical migraine". I do experience migraines from time to time, and this is not even remotely the same in any way. The chest pain is very frightening and uncomfortable. Gas medication (I understand that chest pain can sometimes be caused by gas pain), anti-inflammatories and acetaminophen are ineffective. I do not have any problems with anxiety, depression or stress. I take Lo-loestrin Fe continuously (no inactive pills) for endometriosis. As far as I know, I suffer from no other chronic conditions. I am curious as to what this might be or if I should see another doctor.

Thank you,
Shannon

Hi, the chest pain appears to be due to cervical spondylosis, or gastric irritation, or a muscle stretch of thoracic muscles, or eosinofelia.
I to my patient with such pain prescribe muscle relaxants for local application, a combination of the omeprazole and domperidone, and nimisulide, and diethyl carbamazipine citrate. Thank you.
