Episodes Of Heart Flutters, Weakness In Left Arm. Relief With Aspirin. Done EKG Holter Test Before. Suggestions?

I had an 2 episodes of heart flutters after sitting that lasted about 30 seconds each, about 5 minutes apart. Now have weakness and weird feeling in left arm. Took half an aspirin and it seemed to help, but still aware of arm. Former smoker 38 not overweight. Had bout similar 2 years ago with EKG holter etc, but no explanation. Only lightheaded during the 30 seconds of flutters.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Electro Physiological Studies (EPS) may be necessary > it resembles angio – a catheter is put inside the heart / electrical activity recorded / stimulation and suppression tests are carried out / suitable medicine tested and so on. Though the test is the gold standard, it is INVASIVE and is not generally done unless there are compelling indications. This super-speciality expert is called ELECTRO-PHYSIOLOGIST. The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation. There are other advanced treatment modalities - like ablation (thermal or radio-frequency), which could be done during EPS.
Neurologist may help to exclude cerebrovascular insufficiency – with arm sore and smoking history... / MRI may be needed. MRA (MRI angiography) shows blood vessels and is generally done at the same sitting.

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God blessGood luck
