Dry Patches On Upperlips With Discolouration

Hi I had 2 very dry patches on my upper lips . no itch , no redness, slight dicoloration . it stayed for about 15 days. When i went to the doctor, She suggested to apply fourderm and I did mixing it with petroleum jelly. It cured but within a week I see one patch back again at the same spot. Please suggest what to do

it is due to loss of cellular fluid in affected area..,
common in sun exposure individuals..,
and hot climates..,
Hence....
1) Take plenty of oral fluids..,
2) Morning use..SUN SCREEN LOTION...,
3) Night times use...MOISTURIZING CREAM...Cetraben, Elovera and Moisturex..,
4) Tab...Derantox daily for 15 days..,
