Dry Cough, Headache. Is It Sinus Or Something Else?

I have a cough that for the most part just started Mondayit is dry but comes on unexpected I also have had a slight headache since this started. I just was on a trip last week and in an airplane which always seems to make me have sinus after I have been in the air. Over the counter drugs have somewhat helped but have not gotten rid of the cough at all. Do you think this is sinus or something else?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Sinusitis is infection of various sinus situated on the face in various bones.
Usually in popular terms we call sinus as common cold.
In your case you might have got allergy and so also infection of sinus.
Due to allergy you develops cough.
Bronchoconstriction is the main cause of dry cough .
Wheezing , whistling sound during breathing and difficult breathing are main symptoms of allergic bronchitis ( sinusitis).
Can be confirmed by physical examination by a physician , so consult a physician and get his opinion and treatment .
For time being coffee ( hot ) also provide relief.
Good luck.
