Double Lung Xplant, Started Mycophenolate. Have Trouble Sleeping, Feel Weak, Tightness In Chest. Why ?
I am a double lung xplant 3 yrs out. Just started 1/12 month ago taking mycophenolate. Had just finished solumedrol treatmentmonth ago, RATG treatment 2 months ago and solumedrol 3 months ago for mild rejection whihch would not stop. I go back this coming Monday for follow up to see if last solumedrol treatment was effective & stopped the rejection. Issue is it seems that after staring the mycophenolate I really am having trouble sleeping, feel weak & chest seems tight. Question is could this be from mycophenolate? Thanks.

From a research done on patients taking mycophenolate, 13978 patients have reported any kind of side effects after taking the medication.
Of these, 48 (0.34%) patients reported insomnia and 343 (2.45%) reported muscle weakness.
You may be one of the few having both these after taking mycophenolate.
