Does Urine Test Screen For STD Before Surgery?
Hi,
I had to get an orchiopexy done two months ago and prior to the surgery I gave a small urine sample. This was before I was diagnosed to have to get the surgery, so the doctors were testing for issues, I imagine. Would this test have screened for STDs and if I wasn't given any information on it, does it mean I'm clean?

Dear friend, greetings from HCM .. I understand your concern .. We cannot diagnose any STD s .. With urine examination . that could be for routine screen for sugar , red blood cells and proteins just prior to the surgery . any way eben they would have taken your blood sample also to screen STDs .. Prior to surgery .... So need not worry if you have any sort of fear due to exposure or risk get it checked and get rid of those thoughts from your mind and get a clean chit certificate too ..
