Does Thyroid Cause Muscle Problems?

i have thyroid problems and am on medication for it but since i had the problem my muscles have hurt and tensed up i have panic attacks over them tighten up they tighten in my chest arms bk and neck the docs now say i have fibromyilgia on top of thyroid they even tested me for lupus can ur thyroid cause muscle problems i just want it all to go away i feel like im goin crazy.

Here you have generalised muscle weakness ....
So your doctor might be right , it can be fibromyalgia like muscular problem .....

In hyperthyroid also there is proximal myopathy .....
It also can lead muscular weakness and yes anxiety and irritation also...
So it also contribute in muscle weakness. .

You have not mentioned your thyroid report .
According to report treatment can be guided. ..
If you have not done report investigate with t3, t4 and TSH estimation.....
