Most definetly. Look into something like meditation, or running, to do on your breaks at work. Fifteen minutes is all you need.

I am a 31 year old female. I am 5 3 and weigh 127lbs. A few months ago I went to my Dr. for anxiety and she put me on Wellbutrin XL , and about a month later I found that I had high blood pressure . Initially my Dr. took me off of the Wellbutrin (for about a week) and the only change noted is that my blood pressure went up in that time, so she then put me back on the Wellbutrin and took me off of my birth control. A few days later my BP had gone down slightly, but still not in a healthy range. My BP continues to be high and none of this makes sense to me. It has been mentioned that maybe I need to have some test run to see how my kidneys are working, but I have not been back to see my Dr. recently. One other thing worth mentioning is that I am currently in nursing school and have 3 young children, so of course me stress level is a bit high.

I am a 27 yr old male currently taking 10mg of lisinopril for BP. I have a high stress managerial position and have started to see more and more symptoms of anxiety. Including an odd symptom of dry heaving before work?? My doctor prescribed zoloft but I am apprehensive towards taking this medication.

I am a 34 year old male and have suffered from GAD and Panic Disorder for years. I have done some self help programs that have helped quite a bit and i rarely have panic attacks anymore. I also work out everyday. However, I still have quite a bit of just generalized anxiety. With that being said I am constancly focused on my heart. Over the years I have had multiple tests including Echos, EKG, Holter Monitors, Stress Echo s and nothing abnormal has ever shown up. Lately my heart seems to be skipping beats or having extra beats more frequently. There also times where it will beat really hard once and this startles me. I don t have any chest pain and I m failry certain this continues to be anxiety but just wanted to see if I should speak with my doctor again. I also have BP monitor at home and on a few rare occasion the irregular heart beat signal has shown up. I am not currently taking any prescription meds but I do take a baby aspirin, Omega 3 and multivitamin daily. Any advice? Thanks so much!

In a recent medical exam, my BP was 142/92 and my pulse rate was 63. My SpO2 was measured twice (three minutes apart) and went from 96% to 93%. I had no medical history to report to the doctor. I was basically starting fresh with my healthcare. She said my vitals were normal and stable. She said my BP was likely due to my back pain (that led to the visit in the first place). But if my pressure was high, why was my rate low?? And, what is the significance of the drop in SpO2? Thanks.

I have a rash in my groin and my body is always itchy. For about 2 years I had rashes on both my feet. It seems to have cleared now but I still have to apply dipresone everyday. I take medication for high blood pressure - Micardi Plus, Zanidip and Spiractin. Are any of these causing my rash problems?

My husaband is 65 years old nad he told me that last night he experienced a sudden waive of dizziness, enough that he actually fell down. I feel kind of silly asking this, but my heart rate (resting) has been elevated all day -- ranging from 107 early am, up and down from 130 - 180 most of the day. I've been having episodes like this for several months, but not this bad or long lasting. I guess I'm just not sure what to do. Bp avgs 120/78 - 130/88.
