Does Sleep Deprivation And Menopause Causes Daily Headache And Migraines?

I am a 50 year old woman, I have been having daily headaches/migraines for two years now. I have been going through menopause for 8 years and now I m being told that the combination of sleep deprivation and menopause could be the cause of the daily headache/migraines. Is this the case and what can be done? thank you

Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Yes the menopause and sleep deprivation can cause headaches. First the sleep needs to be restored. You may take some sleeping pills such as alprazolam or zolpidem for sleep. Regarding the menopause, if its troubling you a lot then your gynec can consider adding some hormonal therapy for the menopause phase.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
