Does Skim Milk Consumption Cause Chest Discomfort?

I am a very active, very healthy 62-year-old man. In the past six months or so I have been drinking a great deal of skim milk. Recently, I have been experiencing an occasional chest sensation, not painful but annoying, that feels like a momentary arrhythmia -- a skipped beat. Might there be a correlation?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Skim milk consumption should not usually cause chest discomfort
2. However, rarely during fat removal process, calcium and potassium can increase, which could be contributing to arrythmias, at present.
3. Get your calcium and potassium level checked.
4. Also few fat soluble vitamin deficiency may be present, you will require vitamin supplements.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
