Does Remained Condom Inside Vagina After Having Sex Cause Infection?

Was having sex using a condom and had extended sex after ejacuation as soon was having multiple orgasam. While taking the penis from her, found that only the penis came and the condom was inside her Vagina. Is there any possiblity of contracting HIV ?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Barrier method of contraception (e.g. condom) will prevent transmission of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) or HIV.
STDs and HIV infection are contracted only if your partner has the infection.
The condom which is left in the vagina should be removed since it can cause infection in the vaginal tract.
If the condom remains there for longer period, it can cause toxic shock syndrome.
Thus, it should be removed immediately.
