Does Missing One Pill Cause Pregnancy?

hi, im rosetta, im using microgynon 30(21 day pills) for 3 years, i missed my pill today more than 12 hrs ( 13 hours to be exact) but i soon as i find out i took it straight away.now i am worried that i will be pregnant. this is the first time i have missed one pill. Do i need emergency contraception?

It is good that you have taken your missed pill as soon as you remembered. Then continue taking rest of the pack as normal. (This would mean taking two pills on the day you remembered that you had missed pill).

If you do so you will still be protected against pregnancy and there is no need to take emergency contraception.
