Does High IGG Counts Indicates Infection During Pregnancy?

Hello my wife had one miscarriage and now she is pregnet after 6 months as per dr sugg Hi we did a torch tesested because of Torch test. my wife who is in her 12 week of pregnancy Her Rubella IGG is 52.40. IU/mL (which is high as per report) IGM .68 (which is high as per report) she is taking medicin for it and her Rubella IGG 52.00 IU/ML, IGM is 0.25 IU/mL wich is Negative Her Cytomegalovirus IGG is 129.40 AU/mL (which is high as per report) and Cytomegalovirus IGM is 0.18, Herpes Simplex virus 1+2, IGG 1.55, IGM 0.04 which is Negative Is this report fine? why her IGG counts are high does that mean she had infection during her pregnancy and now she has developed immunity for them? Can we be 100% sure that this immunity is developed not because of an infection during her pregnancy, is it not possible that she got infected during her pregnancy and thus it might have damaged her fetus? Please clarify. Thanks a ton.

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

She is not having infection as IGG means past infection and not present infection. IgM indicates current infection which is negative in her. Feel free to consult me directly
