Does Colonoscopy Cause Burning Sensations And Itch?
Hi I got a colonoscopy done about 4 days ago and it feels like burning sensation and itchy specially on the left side. Also I have a dull lower back pain ...went to the ER and no signs of perforation but it feels like I m scratched from the inside. I get chills is this normal?
What you are experiencing is normal after colonoscopy. It's caused by colon mucosa damage.
I would recommend to take spasmex and butifar to relieve the symptoms. Usually it needs a couple of days (3-7 days) and everything will be back to normality.
Wish you health! Dr. Klerida
