Does Bruising On The Thigh Affect The Hip Surgery?

I am scheduled for hip surgery on Friday and fell last sunday and bruised the top of my thigh on the front of my let. I ve called my doctor s office to let them know and haven t heard back. Should I be concerned that a big bruise on my thigh in the front might delay the surgery?

Hello,

I do not think this should anyway affect the surgery. In fact, the surgery can still be performed and nothing complications can be expected due to the bruise.

You can be confident to undergo the hip surgery and please follow the post-hip surgery rehabilitation program by which the muscles become stronger and support the surgery to make it successful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
