Does Ayurvedic Medication Reduce Swelling And Pain Due To Rheumatoid Arthritis?
Hi Doctor, I am a 58 yer old female suffering from Rheumatoid Arthriis.As of today my ESR level was 41.I am on daily Hydroxychloroquine tablets 200mg and Arcoxia 90mg when in pain.Am wondering if Ayurvedic treatment can reduce pain and swelling? Pl advise me.Thanks

I feel modern scientific medication has the best treatment for RA.
hydroxychq is a wonder drug and if you are doing ok on it, it is really good.
generally people require to take methotrexate along with hcq.
so I feel it would be best to stick to this to prevent deformities and disability.

ayurvedic medicin does have a good role in RA. but this has not been proven scientifically. the good part is that it has relatively fewside effects
