Does Norethindrone Acetate-Ethinyl Estradiol Cause Weight Gain?
Hi, I started taking a birth control called norethindrone acetate and ethinyl estradiol about 3 months ago. During this time I have been trying to lose weight but instead have gained. I go to the gym everyday and am careful about what I eat. Could It be the birth control?

Birth control pills can cause weight gain. If you can not tolerate hormonal pills, you can consult a gynaecologist and switch to progesterone only pills which have got fewer chances for weight gain.
