Hi, Welcome to Healthcare Magic! There might be several causes of a red eye. The drops that you have right now are antibiotic drops which help in treating an infection. So they will be useful only if the redness in your eye is due to an infection. Also, keep in mind that most of the eye drops have an warning that once opened, they should be used within a month. The redness might be due to intense heat and exposure to sun (Dry eye) in which case you'll need artificial tear drops. I'd suggest you to visit an ophthalmologist to rule out infection and other causes and take appropriate treatment. Hope I've solved your query. Regards, Dr. Sridhar Reddy
