Does Lisinopril Cause Weakness And Depression?

I have been taking Lisinopril 10mg once a day for about 3 years. During that time I have began treatment for depression as well, since it seems I am always tired, feel weak and just generally sad. Do you think the Lisinopril could be causing this, not only life itself?

Hi ! Thank you for posting your questions here.

I would say that they could be the symptoms of the stressful situations . ( being sad i due to the stressful times .)But yes Lisinopril may cause tiredness, weakness due to hiperkalemia .

You should check your blood pressure every day to see if you have hypotension ( If they are normal it's confirmed that feeling tired, weakness are caused by the stresful timeAsk an appointment with the treating doctor to discus about depression and the medications.

Wish you good health.
If you have any other questions please feel free to ask me.
