Does Hydrocodone Alleviate Body Pain?

when is hydrocodone 10 vs. hydrocodone 10-325? I take it for pain. I have been recently prescribed percocet but I don t like the sedation side effects. It is better for pain but it does not last any longer than the hydrocodone 10-325 I was previously taking. I have to take tylenol or ibuprofen in between which worries me because I usually take 4 capsules of the otc generics.

Hello,

Hydrocodone 10 is just 10mg of hydrocodone, while hydrocodone 10-325 has 10mg of hydrocodone combined with 325mg of acetaminophen, which is another pain reliever.

So I would be careful about using more Tylenol (acetaminophen) with this, as you might take too much (normally the maximum dose is 4000mg in 24 hours).

Taking Ibuprofen with this should be alright, as long as you don't take too much (usually maximum is 3200mg in 24 hours).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
