Hi, I was advised by my doctor to take Ascard 75 about 7 years back when I had Angioplasty with a stent inserted in one of the main arteries of the heart. I have been taking this medicine ever since. My question is that what are its side effects? I have had two recent episodes of hemorrhage in my right eye, one after the other. Since then I am worried that it may happen in the brain. I have since stopped taking Ascard. Please tell me what to do and is there is any alternative to Ascard which may not have harmful side effects. I am male, 65 years of age, weigh 66 pounds, height about 5 ft 7 inches, and am a diabetic since 11 years with excellent control over blood sugar levels (HBA1C remains well below 7)
