Do I Need To Go For Anti Rabies Vaccination?

Hi doctor, i got bitten by dog about 6 hours ago. the dog was a domestic one. and it was healthy. the bite was a two small scratches on my leg. i washed my leg throughly with soup and water after 2 hours of bite. now i am fear about rabies. what should i do?

Hello. Thank you for your question. As long as this is a dog that can be observed over the next few days, there is no need to get rabies vaccines. If the dog begins to show signs of rabies, then you would go for the vaccines. If not, however, there is no need.
