Discomfort In Legs While Walking, No Swelling Or Bruising. Got Hit By Pitch Softball. Should I Meet Doctor?

My daughter plays fast pitch softball. She was hit by a pitch on her leg yesterday in the calf/shin area. The ball was going about 50mph. My daughter has no visible bruising and no swelling but is having considerable discomfort in the side of her leg when she walks/steps off. Since there is no bruising or swelling should we just wait and see or should she be checked by our doctor??
