Difficulty In Breathing While Sitting, Walking Or Sleeping. Reasons ?
hi doctor,
iam having difficulty in breathing while sitting ,walking and sleeping i take deep breath but especially during sleep my breath stops for 30 seconds i get up all of sudden and run as i get scared a lot as (i think my breath stops completely)later after five minutes i will sleep again this is happening since my childhood now iam 35 years old .
pls advice and help me thanks in advance

Getting tested at a sleep lab for Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA)would help identify any sleep abnormality,similar symptoms are known to occur in acute anxiety and panic disorders which needs to be ruled out.A lung function test will reveal any respiratory disorder.
