Diarrhea Treated With Norflox-tz, Sharp Pain Moving From Shoulder To Ribs. Gastric Problem?

I had a mild diarrhoea and I took norflox-tz tablets (thrice only, in 10 hour duration) My diarrhoea was treated but now I have sharp pain in my left rib (inside) and its moving from shoulder to ribs I guess it a gastric problam but I really worried about that if it is anything else. I am taking Gelusil antacid for now.

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You have taken excess dose.
Normal dose is twice daily at 12 hours interval for five days.
Any way ,you can take tablet pantoprazole 40 mg once daily before breakfast for 10 days.
If pain persists ,further investigation is needed and you should consult your physician.

Take Care
