Hello. I was diagnosed with genital herpes about 3 or 4 years ago. I've had the same sex partner for that amount of time too and we have unprotected sex 95% of the time, even after I was diagnosed with genital herpes. We've been having anal sex A LOT and I suspect and wouldn't be surprised if I tested positive for anal herpes. But I suspect that I have it because right now, I'm having a vaginal outbreak, and my anal area is sore, tender, itchy and the area is also burning. I have a lot of discomfort sitting down and walking. I went to the hospital two days ago and I was told that they didn't see anything there, but they found herpetic lesions in my vaginal area. I tried to do a bowel movement that same night and it was a NIGHTMARE. It felt like I was passing razor blades instead of fecal matter, and the pain lingered for about 10 minutes or so afterward. And not only that, but I've had to go again yesterday and I attempted to try, and that same pain came back, so I gave up and held it in. I don't want to develop constipation issues.. If my difficulty passing stools is a herpes related matter, what can I do to make bowel movements less of a nightmare, and more bearable??? How can I minimize the pain? SN(side note): I'm taking Valacylovair(I'm not sure if that's the right spelling or not).
