Diagnosed With Cyst In Brain. Sore Throat. What Should Be Done?
A family member who is a quadraplegic was diagnosed with a large cyst which goes up to his brain stem. He s waiting to see a neurosurgeon as he has been told he needs an op. He has been complaining of a sore throat for 3 weeks. It s not a throat infection. What should he do. He s been un well for 5 months but at least he has a diagnosis. We are just concerned for him.
Hi, it appears to be the metastasis of the cyst of the brain, coming down of the brain. It also will show the symptoms of the sore throat. It can have a secondary infection woth bacteria, and will respond to the antibiotics. Thank you.
