Diagnosed With Acid Reflux, Anxiety Attacks, Numbness, Buttock Pain, Vision Blurring. On Xanax. Express Concern?

I was diagnosed with acid reflux a month ago and this started anxiety attacks. Im currently on xanax. When i dont take it i have a constant numbness primarily in my left hand and foot but sometimes in my left buttock and right hand. I also have vision blurring and wiggley floaters. As long as i take the xanax im fine but i hate like taking meds constantly. Should i be concerned about anything else or is this all anxiety related?floatersfloaters

HI
Thank for choosing HCM, Xanax is a Benzodiazepine group (Anxiolytic) drug, if this drug is giving you a relief from the numbness, then it must be functional one or drug might have exerting the placebo effect, for Anxiety & depression consult the psychiatrist, taking xanax is not advisable, for acid reflux you can take omeprazole 40 mg once a day would help you a lot, for blurring vision, retinal pathology is more likely, and for that you have to see the ophthalmologist. Have a nice day.
