Diagnosed With PCOS, Hirsutism. Have Cystic And Nodular Acne, Estrogen Dominance. Would DIM Help With That?

Hello. I have had cystic and some nodular acne for the past year. I have been diagnosed with PCOS and hirsutism. I am done with taking birth control and other drugs. I managed to reduce my hirsutism with myo-inositol supplementation, but I also have estrogen dominance so my acne hasn't gone away. Would DIM help with that, and also the melasma I have developed?

Hi,

DIM supplement contains a phytonutrient called "diindolylmethane". At your case, can help reduce the levels of estrogen and suppress its effects. Thus, the acne you are facing which is due to high estrogen levels, will clean up too.

With regards to melasma, if your identified it as related to hormonal changes, then, it will also be resolved.

At last, be always in contact with your OG and check your hormones levels regularly.

All the best!
