Diabetic, Suffering From CHF And Trying To Quit Smoking. On Prednisone. Any Suggestions?
My husband is a diabetic and just got out of the hospital yesterday for chest congestion. He also suffers from CHF. He is also trying to quit smoking and is very agitated. They have him on prednisone I guess to get rid of the inflammation in his lungs. He was diagnosed with COPD several years ago. When he went into the hospital his oxygen level was 73. It was 97 with 4 liters of O2 at the hospital. I don t know what it is right now. I take Oil of Evening Primrose and St Johns Wort for depressions and anxiety. I gave him some to take the edge off of his trying to quit smoking but I don t want that to hurt him. Any suggestions?

In my opinion do not give any herbal medicines without the knowledge of your doctor. So you stop giving it.
