Developed An External Hemorrhoid, Hurts On Walking. Preparation H Not Working. Sign Of Bacterial Infection?

About 5 days ago i developed an external hemorrhoid. I have never had one before. It hurts when i walk but feels slightly better when i sit or crouch down. I bought preperationH and have been using that but it doesn't seem to be working. It makes it burn after i put it on and i feel more pain than before i apply it. Today i see that there are two big dark red/black spots on the hemerrhoid. Is that a sign of a bacterial Infection? Is this why the cream isn't working?

Hi,
It seems that you might be having infected hemorrhoids giving rise to this problem.
Go for one antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Avoid constipation.
Take plenty of water and more fiber containing diet.
Take mild laxative daily at night.
ok and take care.
