Deafness. Is A Complete Ear Transplant Not Feasible?
Hello. I'm a 20-years-old deaf from Greece. So please excuse any mistakes in the use of the lanuage. I would like to ask why a fully ear transplant is not feasible. I've read some articles about experiments on animals whose hearing loss recovered. The source is this: WWW.WWWW.WW Furthermore, I read that the procedure of placing the earing capillaries is considered as a quite demanding and difficult procedure. Therefore, I would like to ask: Why dont you simply try a fully ear transplant? Obviously, you might answer to me that this is not possible. But I've never heard of such a surgery or a such attempt in contrast with other medical fields like eyes etc. Thank you in advance for your answer!
