About 3 years ago small and a few shades darker than my normal skin started to appear on my stomach and chest area. I use lotion and that seems to help, but it never goes away. When I rub it skin particles fall off. My doctor said that it was yeast and that to just use baby powder, but that hasn't helped. How do I get rid of this? Also my elbows since the age of 4 have been notoriously dry and will crack. I've been using a triple moisture cream that seems to help, but the only thing that did work in the past was a low amount of a steroid cream. Even though that got rid of it for a few months, after I stop using it, it comes back. I cannot use the cream anymore unfortunately due to hormones. Is there anything that isn't prescription that can help me?
