Dark Patches On Forehead, Neck And Hands. Multi-vitamin Used. Advise?

There are dark patches on my forehead, neck and hands. I have a wheatish complexion but now I look very dark because of these patches. I tried using a multi-vitamin from 10 days. I found my skin glowing and the dark patches getting lighter. However, my skin has got back to the darker again for the past 2 days. Plz advice.
