Could Spotting In The Rectum Be Due To Liver Cancer?

Don't know if symptoms are tied together but here goes. Over the last year my vision in my left eye has become a little blurred. I also have developed some blood when I have a bowel movement. The blood is mostly on the tissue and not in the stool but only happens once a month. I over heard some people talking about someone else with the same symptoms and they had said that it was a form of liver disease/cancer. Is there truth to this? Do my symptoms fit or are they two completely separate issues? I'm being treated now for hemorrhoids and have an eye appointment scheduled. The treatment for the hemroids did not work and I have to set up another appointment.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is not true. Unconfirmed blood stain stool and blurred vision are not related but they are separate conditions.

You already have history of hemorrhoid, and for that you have to go for surgery and it is the only option for cure. Other treatment may not work.

For blurred vision, an eye examination is recommended, but it can be due to diabetes, hypertension, cataract, retina tear, or pathology.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
