Could Severe Pain In Eye Radiating To The Head Be Due To Displacing The Zygomatic Plate Put After An Accident?
Hi, my boyfriend got into a bad accident several years ago and crushed his zygomatic plate. In turn, an artificial plate was put in. A few months ago he had a seizure and smacked his face against the car lift he was working around. Now he has severe pain radiating from his eye up to his head whic wraps to the back of his head. Is it possible that he displaced the plate? If so, does this meam he needs surgery again? The pain he is having is an 8 on pain scale. There is also a visible swelling in this area that is triangilar shaped from under his eye to his cheek.
